Saved by faith alone in Christ alone
God created the whole world. He created man to be special among His creation, and He created man in his own image. Man was made to reflect God and glorify Him.
Man was given a choice. Choose to obey God or choose to disobey. The very first man and woman that God created chose to sin which is to disobey God. Because of this, God cursed man, woman, and the earth.
Because of man's disobedience, he was forced to leave his place walking with God and forced into separation from Him. From that point onward, man had a heart bent on disobeying God. And every man born is born with this same nature. Man is born with a heart that seeks after his own way and is set against God.
Because of our sin, we are doomed to be eternally separated from God. God is holy and cannot have sin in His prescence. Yet, out of His mercy and grace, God made a promise that He would send One who would be able to save man from his sins. This savior would pay the debt of man's disobedience and make man right with God again.
God sent his son Jesus into the world to be that savior. Jesus lived a perfect life on earth and was killed by man. Three days after His death, Jesus rose from the grave! Through Jesus' death, He paid the penalty for the sins of all that believe in Him. This is the only way to enter back into the presence of God, through believing in His son Jesus Christ. We were made clean again through His sacrifice for us.
Jesus is returning soon to establish His Kingdom. We need to be ready and need to share the good news of His sacrifice for us with anyone who will listen.
